How do I add an AI note taker to Webex meetings?
Connect your Google or Outlook calendar, and Sembly joins every Webex meeting with a link in the invite, only the meetings you create, or none until you invite it. You can also paste a Webex link into Sembly or add [email protected] to the invite. Sembly joins as a visible participant named Sembly Agent.
Does Sembly work with free Webex plans?
No. Sembly records Webex meetings on paid Webex plans only and cannot record meetings on a free Webex plan. Webex support is currently in beta.
How do I get speaker names in Webex transcripts?
Turn on Webex live captions before the recording starts, and Sembly labels each line with the speaker’s Webex display name. Without live captions, speakers appear as Speaker 0, Speaker 1, and so on, and you can rename them in the transcript.
Can Sembly record Webex meetings in HD video?
Yes. Video recording is available on Pro, MAX, and Enterprise plans, at up to 1024×768 on Pro and 2560×1600 on MAX and Enterprise. You can download the audio as MP3 and the video as MP4.

Sembly holds SOC 2 Type II certification and is GDPR compliant, with HIPAA support on MAX and Enterprise plans. Data is hosted on Microsoft Azure in US or EU regions and encrypted in transit and at rest, and admins can set retention rules that delete meeting data automatically.
